A bearish head-and-shoulders that provisionally validated, then failed
Reconstructed archive entry.
It describes 08 September 2026, and was published on this site on 22 September 2026.
It was written up from contemporaneous records after the fact — this site did
not publish it on the historical date.
In early September a bearish head-and-shoulders structure with a neckline break was
identified and appeared provisionally validated.
It then failed and was reclaimed.
This record exists precisely because it failed. Preserving it is the point: a
research log that quietly deletes the setups that did not work is not a research
log. Verified closes through the period:
- 3 September: $81,271.74
- 11 September: $77,173.80
- 18 September: $80,901.46
- 21 September: $86,602.91
[TECHNICAL] The neckline break did not follow through, and price subsequently
reclaimed the structure decisively. Recorded as INCONSISTENT with the bearish
reading. Technical analysis is probabilistic; this one was wrong.
An observation, not a prediction. Recorded as part of an ongoing public
experiment and not investment advice.
